kids in doodles: first remote control car ride

time again for kids in doodles + for this week am sharing you a video of my very first ride in one of those Β remote control cars in the mall. mum + tita cel both did not want me to ride at first telling me they are only for bigger kids, but i guess they cannot do anything about it since i went ahead + rode one, anyway! so mum had no choice but to strap me to the car seat with a seat belt + zoom I went πŸ™‚

i was enjoying the ride until i saw those bigger kids riding past me on motorcycles, i wanted so much to ride one of those! oh well, maybe when i am a bit bigger, i guess am going to have to settle for the remote control car for now!

i enjoyed the 30-minute ride anyway, steering and pretending i was driving the car, a bigger guy is actually controlling the car with a remote control in the side, but do not tell anyone, right? πŸ˜‰ i guess mum + tita enjoyed it, too, as while i was busy riding away, they were busy snapping photos + taking this video! πŸ˜€

kids in doodles: my very own doodle

kids in doodles, toddler doodles,

for this week’s kids in doodles, am sharing one of my own doodles. mind you it is not so often that i’d sit in front of my doodle pad, with a pencil or a crayon in hand to doodle the time away. if you will see how my usual day goes by you would know that i am mostly tinkering with my matchbox cars or reading one of my books Β or comic books or other toys that i own or busy watching my new favorite dvd, rather than spending time playing with my school stuff.

do not get me wrong, i love my school stuff + i am thrilled that mum got me some, maybe they just have to grow on me a little bit more or sometimes they just fail to win my attention since a lot of other shiny things are competing against them. anyway am sure when i am a bit bigger i will be able to spend more time with books + school supplies than with my toys, so i will just enjoy it! πŸ˜‰

for this particular doodle, i simply played with my orange crayon! i like the color orange, i have a shirt in this color + it reminds me so much of carrots! + i can pronounce those two words now, so i guess it makes orange one of my faves! hopefully carrots will also grow on me soon πŸ™‚

time to share your doodles with us. check out the fun rules of our games + the cute badges here. do not forget to visit as many participants as you can, right? + oh, by the way, since mum is also trying to use those little buttons above + below your posts so she can share your posts on facebook, twitter + other social media sites, do find time to add those in your blogs will you? i will also appreciate if you’d share my posts, too! also the linkie for kid in doodles for last week will still be open for roughly two more days, so might as well join in there, too, if you haven’t already, ayt? πŸ˜‰

kids in doodles: my first day in swimming class

kids in doodles, best things to do this summer, swimming lessons, my favorite things

mum + i were a little bit under the weather which explains why we are posting kids in doodles late this week. i had a burning fever friday night + mum was nursing her aching jaw. anyway, i will tell you all about what seemed to be the culprit for my sickness, my swimming lessons. okay not the swimming lessons, itself, but the excess of it, i guess! here goes…

i started in swimming class last tuesday when mum + i went for an assessment + the swimming coach gave me the go signal Β to enroll in one. mum packed my board shorts from last summer + my floaters, too. water has been one of my absolute faves + i guess it goes without saying that i really had a wonderful time in the water! i never wanted to get out of the pool by the time our class is over! πŸ˜‰

there were about 6 of us in our class, including little danielle, andrea, + jay-jay. on our first day we are taught how to paddle with our arms underwater. we basically just have to sit by the poolside, with our floaters tied around our mid-section, + paddle with our tiny arms in the water. up, down, up, down went coach joy’s instruction + there goes our little chubby arms flailing in the water. i was restless after a few minutes + was up on my feet exploring the side of the pool. mum watched by the poolside + was gently reminding me to go back to where the rest of the class is + listen to our coach.

kids in doodles, toddlers, swimming lessons for toddlers, my favorite things, best things to do this summer

one whole hour flew by so fast, + my first day in swimming class is over, it was a good thing we can transfer to the kiddie pool {oh, did i forget to mention we are actually doing our class in the 4ft/5ft pool?} just near the entrance of the resort + resume our swimming there. i got off the pool, only because mum talk me to it, by 6.30pm!

i had a wonderful time + i cannot wait to swim again. i have gone on to two more sessions, which i will tell you all about soon, before i got sick + had fever, which made me miss my classes πŸ™ i am feeling a bit better now, with just coughs + cold, + hopefully i can attend more sessions this week until i used up all of the 10 days that is included in my class.

your turn to share your doodle stories with us. check out the rules + the badges here + don’t forget to visit all the other participants, right? have a wonderful day! πŸ™‚

i know i will get better soon + you can stop worrying. i wish we can go out + celebrate, but am sure you will find ways to make this day a great one! happy mother’s day! πŸ˜‰
