Gifts + Colorful Lego Starwars

toys, Lego, birthdays

Mum + I have been invited to my twin neighbors’ birthday celebration on Sunday to be held at the local Jollibee branch in our city. They will be turning 5 this year, just a year older than I am. If you would ask me, birthday parties are really quite fun + exciting events to attend + I am really looking forward to celebrating with my neighbors, playing fun games {even when I cannot really participate in them just yet} +Β seeing all those happy and joyful kids in one place! If you know me well, you’d know that I do not get to be around many kids that often since I live away from the only 2 cousins I have. That is why it is such a welcome treat to attend occasions like this when I get to be with kids my age. + kiddie parties at Jollibee are the best since I also get to see my favorite bee mascot! πŸ™‚

Of course, one of the best things about parties, too, are the gifts! Birthday celebrants will be very excited to open the gifts their invited families + friends brought for them for their very special day. I know the feeling. I get excited at the mere site of unopened gifts + would like to open them immediately.

Unfortunately, mum + I was not able to get my twin neighbors gifts just yet. We did not have a chance to go out yet + look around for possible gift ideas. If you would ask me, I would say that this unisexΒ colorful lego star warsΒ droid escapes set is quite cool + is quite perfect since it is ideal for children 5 to 8 years old. I may not be that familiar with the movie, but mum said it was a very famous one + probably having a number of them in your toy collection will be such a good idea, right? Oh well, the only problem is I don’t think Kylie will like this toy very much as it looks really more like a boy’s toy.

Anyway, we might probably end up buying separate gifts for the twins to enjoy. It will actually depend on mum’s budget + I am crossing my fingers that we can afford to get two different toys so that both birthday celebrants will be happy! If you have got any ideas or suggestions, do not forget to throw one my way, right? πŸ™‚

My little boy who’s 3 years old thinks Legos are cool too. though I’m not a fan of it. Not that I think its not cool but because it is painful when you accidentaly step on a piece.:)

    Jared's Mum Says:

ouch! good think mum decided against this set! πŸ™‚

Kids birthday party is what keeps them going. They waited for for a year and super excited for the games and gifts. I think it is better to buy different kind of toys for the twin.

    Jared's Mum Says:

we thought so, too! + mum ended up buying them 2 gifts! πŸ™‚

awwwwww…am sure you’ll enjoy the party…most kids love legos…and you can never go wrong with legos…:)

    Jared's Mum Says:

i did! i have yet to own a lego toy. hopefully one of these days mum can get me the cars lego set! πŸ™‚

your post remind me of my son, he loves attending kiddie party because he is excited to receive the loot bag..hehehehe

    Jared's Mum Says:

loot bags are cool, too! i got this cool set of shovels and other toys we can use in the beach from the party. i cannot wait to use them! πŸ˜€

Awe! I am sure they will love whatever gifts you guys end up buying. The lego toys sure looks like a fun toy too though. πŸ™‚

    Jared's Mum Says:

we really hope so. if mum had enough cash i bet she will really opt for this cool star wars lego set! πŸ™‚

Buying two gifts for the twins is a bright idea since they will surely be both happy and they don’t need to fight over one toy. You may find not so expensive toys in the department store or Toys R’ Us or you may opt to buy them a toy like chess, game boards or badminton.

    Jared's Mum Says:

mum ended up buying this art kit for each of them. a race car for Kyle + a princess mirror for Kylie. I hope they enjoy doing the arts n crafts project! πŸ™‚

Awww those are nice, my boy would love those for sure. He’s got some lego star warz here as well.

The best way is to ask the kids or the parent what they want. From there you can get the best gift for them.

    Jared's Mum Says:

thanks for the tip, tito! mum found this cool + creative gift set for the twins. i hope they liked it! πŸ˜€

that age range can play with these legos because they’re already aware of the danger of it. little children tend to put these in their mouth so that’s a NONO for them.

Waaah! I want that Lego Starwars for myself! πŸ˜› hahaha

I hope you have a great time in your neighbor’s birthday party! πŸ™‚ oh and if Kylie was cool, she’d love the toy too. πŸ˜€

    Jared's Mum Says:

I had a great time, tita! Mum just need to find the time to post about our experience here! πŸ˜€

ooh, i guess that’s the problem if your going to go to a twins birthday party, you need to give them two gifts so no one will have the feeling of envy , but it’s good for the family since it would only have one celebration, he he he

    Jared's Mum Says:

so true! we ended up getting two gifts so that they will both have one each! everybody happy! ^_^

Maybe books and puzzles will be great gifts too.

    Jared's Mum Says:

those are great suggestions! will keep that in mind the next time we need to buy gifts. but books are our fave, too, so it always tops our list of things to buy as gifts! πŸ˜‰

wow those are great toys.. vince is into robot now surely he’ll love to have this
