hello guys, i know kids in doodles have been missing in action for two weeks now so we’re making it up by being up early this week. hopefully a lot of you will join in on the fun! 🙂

i did mention that i am now attending playschool {if you’d like to read how my first day went, you can check it here} so for this week’s doodle i shall share with you the very first paper craft i did there. it took me a few more sessions before i finally agreed to make my own craft. this one i actually made at home with the help of my dad! 🙂

what dad did is help me put the glue on the parts of the panda + let me tapped them onto the big piece to form this panda face. i call him po + i guess you know why! do you think he will make for a good mask, too? 😉

my teacher makes us do one animal each session + i have a few of them to make at home since i did not join the classroom activities for several meetings. mum will help do them + hopefully we can finish them soon enough.

here is another paper animal i did, by the way, this is a monkey + mum helped make it! 🙂

kids in doodles, my favorite things, summer, toddler, swimming class, best things to do this summer, — *that’s me on the first day of swimming class, learning how to kick my feet!*

hello again playmates? how’s your summer so far? i have quite a busy one. apart from the numerous activities we have to do {did i tell you we watched ironman3 again last may 1st with my titas + my kuya sean this time?}. mum, dad + i also spend overnight in a hotel in the city + i kind of enjoyed sleeping in a very cold place. i had a wonderful time, we even went on a swim in the hotel’s 6th floor pool.

anyway, speaking of swimming, the thing that is keeping me occupied this summer is my swimming class! mum enrolled me again this year + to say that i am having a great time is actually an understatement. i simply love swimming in the water + when mum agreed that we tag along my car water toys, it was even better! i also enjoy playing with my classmates + learning from my coach. but mostly i just love wading + swimming in the water while coach joy teaches the other students by the poolside. 😀

mum said i have a unique style of learning how to swim, but she was also most pleased that compared to last year i now know how to kick my feet + will occasionally move my arms if need be! i am almost through with my lessons, i have only 1 session left. but i bet my coach thinks i need to stay for a few more session so that i can totally learn how to swim. so maybe we’ll go down the local resort a few more times for a few more weeks.

if i learn how to swim this summer i bet mum will be so delighted, but i know that she primarily just wants me to enjoy + have a great time which is what exactly i am doing. so i guess, it is mission accomplished for us both! after my swimming lessons, mum + i will be checking out the local playschool so that i can enroll, i cannot wait! 😀

kids in doodles, out + about, movies, family time

hello there! how’s everyone doing? i am having quite a very busy summer. first, there’s my swimming class to keep me occupied + we also have a number of activities planned for this summer, on the side. one of which is watching the new super hero movie, ironman 3. i cannot stop thinking about it ever since i saw the trailer earlier this year + mum promised we’ll watch it as soon as it is showing + we did! we get to see the film on its opening day. i even get to watch it with one of my friends, rylan, which is a very welcome treat! 😀

before the film started, mum took photos of me in front of the movie standee. do you think i will make a good ironman? 😉

when they started letting in people to finally see the film, everyone was excited including me + rylan. never mind that we spent the time playing + running around. we are just bursting with energy at the thought of finally watching this film!

to say that i thoroughly enjoyed watching is an understatement! i loved it! + the part that i love the most is when all the ironman suit flew into the scene, it felt like christmastime in april! 😀

kids in doodles: meeting these cartoon characters

howdy! time for another round of kids in doodles stories + today am sharing with you our cool experience at the sm cartoon fest 2 saturdays back! i did mention we are meeting spongebob, but apart from him, we have also come face-to-face with loads of other cartoon characters, including: batman + the other justice league superheroes, elmo + his friends from sesame street, the angry birds + pigs, eb from the movie hop, the lovable minions from despicable me, hello kitty, the lorax, garfield, robby rabit, tom + jerry, tweety bird, bugs bunny+ for the little girls there’s also hello kitty, barbie + dora the explorer.

it was really quite an awesome experience to meet all these cool cartoon characters come to life + have our photos taken with them. our digicam actually went dead when it is time for spongebob to grace the stage. it was a good thing mum’s friend kuya rence, volunteered to have our photos taken with the mascots. thank you kuya rence, we owe you one! 🙂

kids in doodles: easter celebration

hello everyone how are you all doing today, as usual mum is posting this week’s k.i.d. a bit late but i still do hope you will join us + share your easter celebration stories with us! 🙂 there were no easter bunny and only one easter egg when we celebrated easter last sunday, but mum did promised that we’d go out + visit the mall so we did! i had been under the weather for a couple of days already + mum was just delighted that i am finally well again!

although i did not participate in any easter egg hunt, i still had a wonderful time spending an afternoon with mum + later on with tita cecille. we’ve gone out quite late since i really do not like to go out when the sunshine is too much + it is really hot outside, so we waited for a few more hours and left in the afternoon.

i played in this soft play area for kids + had a wonderful time bouncing around and trying their inflatable slides. there are also other kids playing at the time, making my playtime more enjoyable!an added treat was when i saw my favorite, jollibee, when we went to his store for dinner. i have been craving for chicken joy for a few days so mum agreed that we eat there that day! i even got an easter egg from jollibee, how cool is that?
