i went on my very first boat ride 2 sundays ago with my family. we left the pier at 6 in the evening just in time to view the famous sunset in manila bay. it was beautiful! i consider this my very first boat ride since the time we we went to check out the mv logos hope last year do not actually counts since the ship isn’t moving! 😀

riding a boat is much like riding a car or a jeep except that instead of cruising on the road, we are actually wading through the water + you’d get a bit wobbly sometimes especially when there is a particularly big wave ahead. our cruise includes a dinner buffer so i was feasting on my fave, pancit, while enjoying this new experience.

we even get to see a bit more of the shore and the nearby areas when we checked out the upper deck after eating. you can see the dark sky + the stars, too! they were all so interesting to look at.

i really enjoyed this experience + mum said we will ride a boat again when we visit the beach, i cannot wait! 🙂

how you doing boys + girls? it is 9 days before christmas + i bet you all are excited to open your presents under the tree. i know i am! 🙂 but before that, don’t forget to share your very first horse ride stories though kids in doodles this week, right? 😉

i’ve ridden wooden horses in carousels + other theme-park rides before, but the time we went to baguio + went horseback riding is actually the very first time i’ve ridden a real horse! it was mum’s first time, too! 🙂

it was really such a fun experience + i really enjoyed it! we went around this oval ground in one part of the park. there are loads of trees around and the track was muddy due to last night’s rain. our horse is just galloping at a slow + steady pace. maybe that is why i did not get scared of it at all! 😉

i would’ve loved to ride the horse for the entire time, but mum said we share the ride with my tita jinky + tita cecille + i agreed. they loved it, too. am sure we will be doing this again the next time we visit baguio! 🙂

an early birthday card from eq

we got this in the mail a few weeks back. it was sent by eq diapers club where mum is a member of. the letter contains a very early birthday card for me + several discount coupons to toy stores, a cake shop + an ice cream discount vouchers to a 24/7 convenient store. am not sure though if we will ever get to use the coupons + vouchers that went along with the card, but i definitely like the card, especially the picture of the balloons in front of it! i am enjoying balloons at the moment (see my post here)

thank you eq for sending me my very first birthday card ever! i have been using these dappies since i was just a tiny tot + so far i’ve also received a green frog table from them last year + am now waiting for my wooden puzzle toy. i guess it pays to be an eq dry user, right? ;D
