did you watch the last rio movie? then i am sure you all know who blu is! he is the cool blue bird in that film, the main character, who was removed from his natural habitat in rio di janeiro and was fortunately found by his taker linda. blu can do a lot of amazing things like opening a computer, skating, reading but apparently he does not know how to fly.

the first rio movie is all about blu’s adventure when he went back to rio di janeiro to meet with jewel. they were the last of their kind + they were supposed to make baby birds together so there will be more blue macaw in rio. these beautiful birds are being captured and sold overseas at a hefty price.

i have seen the film a few times + i really love it! that is why i am excited to see its sequel which will be shown on local cinemas starting 09 april. will you be watching it, too?

by the way, did you know that they also have free rio2 toys at jollibee? i ate there earlier with mum + my classmates after our swimming class. mum got me two toys, blu + rafael. now am only missing the last one, which is a new character in the film, geri the frog.

tom + jerry maze notebook

i’ve got a new exciting toy. we got it when we went to have lunch at the local jollibee recently. this is a tom + jerry maze notebook. i came to know these characters when i caught their films showing in one of the local telly stations. i think they were rowdy. that’s probably the reason why mum does not approve of me watching too much of them.

anyway, going back to this toy/school supply, i think the maze is cool. you help jerry find his way around the maze to find his friend tom or to reach the delicious treat at the end of the maze. inside, you will find a find-jerry game, a matching game + loads of ruled pages for kids to doodle on. the only thing is this is quite a tiny notebook compared to the regular ones you see around. it might be a bit difficult filling up those pages especially for a toddler like be, but i like this toy, anyway! 🙂

hello there everyone! sure is a rainy + stormy season out there but there is no need for us to be sad, instead let us all enjoy all the free time so we can do all the things we enjoy doing, like watching loads of cartoons + playing with our favorite toys! 🙂

+ here is one of my latest favorite toys for today’s kids in doodles. this is a jolly kiddie meal toy mum + i got last month, i think. this is whiplash from the awesome + fast movie, turbo! yup, he is a snail + he is one of the cool racer snails that turbo met when tito rescued him. for all those who get to watch the film, am sure you all know him. 🙂

we did not have much luck in completing all the kiddie meal toys for this collection. we visited the jollibee branch near my playschool + whiplash is the only one they have left at the time. it would have been cool if we were able to get turbo {the orange one} + the rest of the gang.
