the barrel: blogging reviews january 2011 issue!

a few months back i stumbled upon this e-zine and was so impressed by its content that i signed on to be a sponsor for the next issue.  yesterday i got an e-mail saying  the barrel:blogging review january 2011 issue is up! so i excitedly went on to check it…
this issue is chockful of information, tips on housekeeping and whatnot,  more interesting blogs to check out and follow, and recipes, recipes and more recipes! i was particularly excited about this since, as part of my 2011 resolutions (which i have yet to make a post on!), i will be learning and trying to cook more delicious and healthy meals to entice my son’s limited taste (read: his appetite only extends to his milk, yogurt milk, cookies on the side, and occasional intake of solid food!) solid food eating habit!
i also love the heart-warming story on kelly’s journey, heartbreak and battle with infertility.
another article i love is marissa vargason’s photography 101. with my new digicam in tow, i think i can easily commit to taking a picture of my son each week so i’ll end up with 52 images by december 2011! taking a photo of jared for each day so i will have 365 new images by the yearend is also quite tempting, but i was not able to take one for today and yesterday, and thought it quite ridiculous to cheat, so i guess i will settle for a picture a week plan.
all in all, the barrel magazine is one interesting read that will be worth your while. but don’t take my word for it. click on that lovely and huge oatmeal cookie (yes, mummies that is an oatmeal cookie!) photo badge on top of this article or on my sidebar to get your barrel experience and on details on how to become a sponsor for the next issue, am sure is signing up again! and don’t forget to check out this month’s sponsor’s page while you’re at it, okay? *wink*
