toy stories 06: winnie the pooh plushy

toys, winnie the pooh

winnie the pooh is not really one of my favorites but it turned out that i have quite a few stuffs with him on it (check out my ball + my bedsheet), + now i have this little infant winnie the pooh stuff toy. well, he is really cute + lovable that it is very easy to like him really + i guess it was my mum + my titas who loved him 🙂

this little winnie the pooh stuff toy is one of the first toys i have ever owned. my tita cel bought this when i was just a very little fellow of several months old. it actually doubles as a rattle which is an ideal toy for infants + little babies. now that i’ve grown, winnie actually sleeps along with my other “little baby” toys in the nook just outside my playpen. i do play with them sometimes when i get bored or when i get the inspiration.

orange winnie the pooh ball

tigger, pooh, ball

one of the best toys ever invented (at least in my opinion) is the ball! ball is simply the great! you can play with it on your own, or shoot into makeshift baskets you will find around, or, you can call on all your playmates + you can play catch!

as for me, the best way to enjoy  a ball is to just toss it + see where it landed! i mostly enjoyed playing with it on my own, running around the house while grabbing my winnie the pooh ball in one hand.  i also play catch with my cousins whenever they are at home. apart from this orange ball, i also have a few other types of balls which i love to play with, too 😉

got any orange thing to share, please do so + join us here:

a great week ahead

mum + me

hello again everyone! it’s the start of another week + i am wishing you will have a great one ahead…

last week was sort of busy in our end. mum has to leave on tuesday + friday for some events she has to attend + left me to my tito ken’s care. she went home quite late that the moment she arrived i was on my way to dreamland.

on thursday, though, mum made up for her absences + brought me to activefun (it was my third time to go there, but it did not make the experience less fun!). we played there for several hours + i really enjoyed it. i will post some of the photos in a while. mum was suppose to go to this tribute party for her favorite band, incubus, but decided against it + played with me instead. i can’t wait to share the stories with you, but that can wait till the next post…

on sunday, we are off again, to sm city north edsa again, but this time, mum watched the harry potter movie. tito dennis, mum’s cousin who happens to be my ninong too, joined us that afternoon. i can’t go with them to the cinema, though, since i am not old enough, plus voldemort does give me the creeps. one scary chap that one is, if you ask me!

we ate in kenny rogers first before mum left for the cinema (see the photo above). i simply love their chicken soup + i’d always eat a lot whenever we go there. i also enjoyed the iced tea, but mum made sure to give me just a little sip of it, just so i can taste it.

mum and baby

it was tita cecille who looked after me when mum left to watch the film. we just roamed around the mall, which was packed with people at the time, since there is a mall-wide sale going on. after several hours of roaming around, i was really tired + sleepy (check out my 2nd photo).

the grown ups did a little windowshopping while i admired the letters “e” displayed in one of the shop’s windows. mum bought some stuffs including an orange shirt for me (which i shall be posting here soon).

it was a tiring but enjoyable day + i look forward to our next adventure!

so how was your weekend? i hope you had a great one 😉

kids in doodles: postcards + a baby

postcards

my mum recently discovered a new hobby – collecting postcards! + every week the mailman would come around our place dropping a stack of postcards for her. just like last week. she was to put me to sleep for my afternoon nap + started checking out her newly received postcards, when i thought of something exciting to do!

kids, postcards

i went up from bed + snatched the stack of cards from my mum + went back to bed! of course, she can only shake her head in disapproval. i was looking at the cards one by one. mum said, they have these lovely pictures of places like new york in the u.s.a. + some interesting places in the philippines, too! like baguio + cagayan de oro. she also said she hopes we can visit those places in the future!

i guess my mum liked that i enjoyed checking out her postcards since she quickly took out the camera + snatched some photos of me. as long as i promise not to tear the postcards apart, i think mum will let me play with them some more 😉

what have you been snatching from your mum lately? share it with us here:

toy stories 05: my mobile phone

V-tech mobile phone, toys

today am sharing to you one of my first + favorite toys – my v-tech mobile phone. mum + dad bought this as another gift (check out my other gift here)when i turned 1 year old last year. i instantly fell in love with this toy + it also instantly fell onto the floor when i threw it for the first time at the toy kingdom floor where we bought it!

i used to love playing with mum’s mobile phones, maybe that is why she got me one of my own. mine is actually cooler with loads of colors in it (it is fun to play during nighttime just before we sleep because of all the pretty colors!), it actually has cute + funny sounds, too! you press a dial + the numbers are said allowed as you press on them. you press another one + the numbers will read out different greetings + niceties to use during a phone conversation like “thank you”, “hello”, “let’s call daddy”, “daddy i love you.” another dial will turn these niceties into chinese niceties like “Xièxiè” for thank you + “Nín hÇŽo” for hello.

V-tech Mobile Phone, toysv-tech mobile phone, toysit also sings a beautiful song that goes:

call your friends, mommy too, you can say how do you do, with a ring, ring, ding-a-ling, caller of the day, have your friends to come + play
