my new lightning mcqueen magazine

mum got me this new cars 2 magazine at the expo kid last saturday. we were browsing around when i wander off into a lightning mcqueen standee in one of the booths + mum saw this treat! 🙂 i love this publication, not only does it feature one of my faves, lightning mcqueen, but it also features a lot of other characters from the cars sequel, like my other favorite, tow mater + sally, plus the new characters shu, holly, fin, + so much more.

not only does it have a lot of great photos, it also include loads of activities which i hope to do once i am big enough, + yep, a whole new pin up of cool cars 2 stickers which i can stick to my stuff or any place i fancy.

the mag + me were inseparable at the event, i guess it was a good thing since mum was able to listen well to the speaker who is talking about the benefits of homeschooling, while i busy myself with my new stuff 😉

kids, Kids In Doodles

i am not much into doodling lately, more often that not, you’d find me tinkering with my toy cars or any other toys that is my favorite at the moment, but when inspiration strikes + i went doodling, mum would be quick to take a snapshot of it + keep it. she said she’d make a scrapbook out of all my doodles or, who know, maybe she’d line them up on our walls 🙂

here is one my doodles, i think i made this late last year with my colored pens. i did this in one of mum’s blank notebook which i would normally get from our drawers to play with. i know it wasn’t much, but hopefully i’d master the art of doodling very soon + will come up with more interesting ones 😉

children + earth hour

earth hour is one of the things we look forward to over the summer, we turn off lights for an hour + have loads of fun playing with our shadows + the flashlights, not to mention taking photos, as well {check our photo of last year’s here}, + helping save mother earth, too! that is why i am glad to know that pocoyo, one of my favorites, is back as the global kid’s ambassador for earth hour + in support to helping save our environment, pocoyo.com came up with pocoyo’s recycling game. and they will plant 1 tree for every 1 child that plays the game. imagine if a million children will play it? we will have a million trees planted for earth hour! cool, right? 😉

i hope everyone supports it. you can check out earthhour.org or official pocoyo on facebook to play the game, you can also download screen savers + wall papers, as well as an activity book you can ask mum to print out for you + play with..so, don’t forget to partake + spread the word about earth hour on 31 march at 8.30pm, so everyone will know about it + everyone will participate, too!

kids, out + about

another fun carousel ride

rides are just absolutely fun, but back when i was a tad smaller i was not really too fond of them, well except when i am riding for the first time, really, which i totally enjoyed! there was a time when i had to get off a fun airplane ride at a local arcade when the ride came to life.

anyway, i guess i am really growing up since then, cause when i had another round at this colorful grand carousel when we went to the mall some weeks ago, i simply enjoyed the ride. + what do you know, i was even taking my hands of the handle bars of my horsey! mum was so delighted when i did that, but had to remind me to keep my hands on the handle bars, anyway 😀

by the way, i was wearing my white shirt from big + small company {which mum got me for christmas}, my black shorts from sm department store – kid section, + my florsheim sandals. it was really hot these days + mum wanted to dress me in the most comfortable clothes whenever we go out. the only setback is that my white shirt ended dirty white after the whole afternoon of running around the mall + browsing thru stacks of postcards + books on display 😀

last week we went out to go to mall for some errands + to beat the sunday afternoon heat. we were just walking around when we spotted this poster in one of the shops there. my tita cel is a huge fan of this band, in fact she will be watching their concert in manila + in cebu, too. i was much interested with the big harry potter poster i saw inside the shop, but indulged the grown ups, anyway 😀

apart from posing beside this photo, we also enjoyed eating at tokyo!tokyo! i love their miso soup + the red iced tea, too, which luckily mum would let me drink. we also visited one of our favorite shops, the bookstore, where we checked out books + postcards. i also browsed at loads of mickey mouse + lightning mcqueen activity books just before we enter the supermarket to do our groceries. too bad, the grown ups were to busy running after me, they forgot to take pictures…
