it was so evident with the scorching heat that summer is finally upon us + i cannot help but think of my inflatable pool, which am sure mum would put up very soon so i can splash in the water to beat the heat, + the beach, with the sand, the sea + the shore 🙂
mum has no definite summer plans as of yet, apart from the plans to see the big ship of books next week + go to bataan over the holy week. i just hope we can go to the beach, too. we had the chance to go to one of those beaches in zambales last summer + i definitely loved it! i swam in the pool for hours + hours + even dipped in the sea with my parents
oh well, am sure, if mum could afford it, she’ll probably bring me to all those lovely places, walt disney world resort, even, since she knows how much i adore mickey mouse + his friends. she would probably spend many hours online reading loads of Orlando Hotel Reviews so she will know which one to choose among these beautiful Orlando Hotels, polynesian resort, port orleans resort or buena vista palace, will best suit our needs + fit our budget, too! 😉
what are your summer plans?
mickey mouse is among my most favorite characters, i’d quickly spot him + point at him anywhere i see him. i love watching his mickey mouse clubhouse episodes + i love looking at his pictures from books + magazines, too.
last month, when we went to the mall, mum + i spotted some of those cool sunglasses + have me tried some. we settled for this blue green aviators, + what do you know, my sunglasses came with this very cute orange container that doubles as a coin bank.
i am filling them with one-peso coin from mum’s change or, sometimes, from tita‘s pocket! 😉
i was busy watching yet another clubhouse episode last night before i went to bed + mum took these snapshots. am sharing them with orange tuesday + hey, don’t forget to join this week’s kids in doodles, too, right? 😉
As fads come and go new toys will always replace the old ones in popularity. Each new wave of toy or plaything becomes boring and is switched out for the next best thing but there are some toys that never get old. Swing sets are an irreplaceable part of childhood, nothing can stand in for the unparalleled feeling of flying through the sky. Red wagons are another toy that just can’t be replaced. Giving your child a wagon to pull their things around in is not only easier for them but can easily make them the envy of their friends with such a unique toy.
Schools and playgrounds are popular places for swing sets but having one for your yard can be a great way to get your child into exercise and playing outside but will give them something they can do with their friends on play dates. It can teach valuable lessons like working together and taking turns as they play and it will also help to keep them away from the TV or computer and help them to understand that being outside can be just as fun. Swing sets don’t have to be expensive or fancy either, having a plank or tire affixed to a tree is often enough.
Red wagons have been a childhood staple for years. Children with red wagons have something they can pull their toys around in, an impromptu earth mover at the beach or even a quick mode of transportation if they get tired. A red wagon makes a great hand me down generational toy, letting kids know the value of passing on something useful to their own kids one day. Despite how quickly fads can change, there are some toys that never get old.
