kids in doodles: another playschool doodle

hello everyone! i hope you are all safe + warm even when there is a storm looming about. i was peering into our window every too often waiting for the sun to come out but no such luck. hopefully tomorrow’s weather will be much better when labuyo leaves our country, so that i can attend playschool + see my classmates.

anyway, we are here for another round of kids in doodles + i will share a few more of my first doodles from playschool. one of our activities, of course, is coloring. this time around i have colored a bunch of musical instruments: a flute, a drum + a triangle. i also had to trace them first before coloring. what can you say about my work? 😉

apart from coloring + tracing, we also do a lot of pasting + crafts. this time we made a colorful butterfly out of different cut-out shapes. mind you? i really do not like the icky feel of glue on my tubby fingers, so i had one of my teacher’s aids to spread them out on my cut out colored paper before i tapped them onto my activity page. i know mum will be thrilled to have me take on the glue with much enthusiasm but maybe some other time! 🙂 after tapping my butterfly into place, i also had to color the flowers + the leaves on the page. i got a very good mark for this work, so i must be improving with my coloring skills! 🙂

have you made any doodles lately? time for you to share it with us here. add one of these badges in your post + link up. make our hop even better by visiting the other participants, too! i will wait for your doodles then!

kids in doodles: coloring at playschool

one of the things that we normally do in playschool is to color. i guess mum will tell you that i am not too fond of coloring stuff + back at home i only do so when i am in the mood. at playschool, though, coloring is so much more fun + enjoyable since you get to do it with other kids your age, plus we get a very good stamp from teacher kai when we finish our work. this stamp i get to show my mum immediately after our class is finished + she is so much delighted! 🙂

here are the very first coloring lesson we had at playschool. with a little help from ate april, one of teacher kai’s aids, i was able to finish coloring a bucket {colored it with my favorite shades blue + yellow}, a ball + a kite. i am not that good in coloring yet + my fingers tend to tire easily, but i am sure with constant practice, i will be able to ace this skill + color in swift, straight lines. 🙂

have you been coloring + what have you colored lately? share those awesome doodles with me here at kids in doodles. include one of these badges on your post + link up. do visit our other participants, too, right? 🙂

by the way, we will  be joining Pasko Sa Agosto giveaway, so please stay tuned for the giveaway post! 🙂

kids in doodles: the lovable minions

kids in doodles, my favorite things, cartoon characters, cartoons

hello boys + girls! it is time again for another round of kids in doodles. today am going to share with you one of my most favorite cartoon characters ~ the minions!

we simply love the movie despicable me, i think i must have seen it a couple dozens of times + we simply adore the minions. if i can have a real one at home i bet mum will also agree that we get one! 😀 we are so looking forward to watching the movie sequel this month + when we found out about the free minion toys at mcdonalds’, mum + i set out to collect them as soon as we got the chance.

i first got tim giggling, tom google grabber and jerry breakdancing on our very first minion hunt. we made it a habit to drop by the local mcdonalds’ after my playschool so that we can buy + collect all 9 toys available. the next ones i got are the 2 purple evil minions, chomper + noise maker. tito ken got them when he brought mcdonalds’ takeaway one sunday we visited them at home.

the second week of our minion hunt adventure started with dave gadget grabber and stuart light-up grabber. after a couple of days we got stuart babbler grabber. it took us a couple of days +  a visit to both local mcdonalds’ to get the last missing minion, but it turned out they were no longer available. good thing dad was able to get me one in a faraway branch.

kids in doodles: fun animal wooden puzzles

kids in doodles

hello everyone! i hope you are having quite a great time today. time again for another round of kids in doodles + before I go on to share my fun story for today let me just give a shout out to our 2 participants for the last edition, Little Zoie’s Steps + MaiThankfulheart. these folks are regulars + i would like to thank them for their continued support! 🙂

now onto this week’s doodle!

wooden toys, educational wooden toys, wooden toys for children, kids in doodles, toys, my favorite things, puzzles

i was not able to go to playschool for two days last week since i am having bouts with cough + colds. my pedia said i need to drink anti-biotics so that i can get rid of the phlegm, but you know how i just dislike taking meds, right?

mum + i were practically cooped up at home for most of the week. aside from watching all these wonderful cartoons on the telly, another thing that help me passed the time away is playing with my animal wooden puzzles!

wooden toys, educational wooden toys, wooden toys for children, kids in doodles, toys, my favorite things, puzzles

i got this toy as another gift from mum last christmas, that time i was too preoccupied with my new iron man + wreck-it ralph toys that i hardly took notice. mum even had to keep it away in the hopes that i might learn to like it better next time, which i did! i love puzzles + they are really quite fun + enjoyable to play with. you might want to check out some of my puzzles in my post here + here!

what i love best about these wooden puzzles is that they feature mum + baby animals in it. apart from that, it is also a very cool toy because it features a number of animal pairs. It is cube shaped and has one animal puzzle in each side. there is a chicken, pig, giraffe, cat, cow, and my fave, elephants!

mum + I spent a lot of time solving the puzzles and naming the animals + babies. i also enjoy making their fun animal sounds! 🙂

okay your turn to share any awesome toys you discovered recently or whatever fun doodle you have. link up + add one of our k.i.d. buttons + visit our playmates, too! have a good one! 😀

kids in doodles: jolly summer fun day

Kids in doodles, out + about, summer, toddler, my favorite things, jollibee kiddie party

Kids in doodles, out + about, summer, toddler, my favorite things, jollibee kiddie party

time for another round of kids in doodles!

on the last day of the month, we attended jollibee’s last hoorah for summer, the jolly summer fun day!

we arrived to our local jollibee branch in crossing a lot earlier + mum got the chance to snap photos of me before the event started. +, of course, she also got me a big cup of my fave drink, pineapple juice! 😀

the event started much later so i was able to play and run around with other kids in attendance before it began. i found this new little guy playmate + we ran around the place, exploring every bit of interesting areas in the place, + after a while, the play area next room.

once the party started everyone was so excited. there were dancing and singing and much like every jolly kiddie party, there were games and contests for older kids to join, as well as other exciting treats prepared for us that day.

of course, no jollibee party will be complete without the dance number by our beloved jollibee mascot. he tagged along his good friend hetty to join the festivities + they gave a delightful dance number that all the kids enjoyed + danced along! mum also took the chance to have my photos taken with jollibee before our camera went dead.

it was a very fun + enjoyable afternoon, what a way to say goodbye to summer! + what’s even better is that mum even let me play at the play area afterwards! 😀

so how did you spend your last summer day? share it with us here to make our game more fun + do not forget to check in on other participants to spread some cheer, too. enjoy + have a wonderful week ahead! 🙂
