i got peanutized!

my favorite things, cartoon characters, cartoons

I just recently discovered the awesome + colorful world of Peanuts thanks to the Snoopy and Charlie Brown The Peanut Movie which I have seen a couple dozen times already! I fell in love with Charlie Brown’s colorful world + his awesome friends. It was good that they also launched Happy Meal Peanuts toys in time for the film + even when I was not able to collect all the toys, I am very happy with those that we got in our collection {although if you will be kind enough to send us the Schoeder + Sally toys, it will be most appreciated ^_^}. I will share my Peantus happy Meal Toys

A few days back mum showed me this cool Peanutize Me website, where you can turn yourself into one of those cool Peanuts characters. I chose among the many different options and this is what the Peanut version of me looks like! I love wearing shades + watch so I included that in my Peanut self. I thought he was cool, what do you think? This Peanutize photos can be downloaded as profile picture or a wall paper. We downloaded the profile photo version so we can easily share it here.

Mum also did a peanutized version of herself, what do you think?

Did you make a Peanut version of yourself, too? I wonder how you looked like.

have you seen the big hero 6 movie yet?

my favorite things, movies, Disney, cartoons

we finally got to watch disneys’ big hero 6 this week + i am glad we did! we all enjoyed the film + have fallen in love with baymax, he is such a cute character. we also love hiro + his brother, Tadashi’s friends who became his friends, too. i enoy hiro + baymax’s adventure, especially when hiro updated baymax’s program + filled it with awesome fighting skills, as well as the ability to fly. it will be totally cool to fly around town in the back of an awesome robot, right?

mum said big hero 6 was made by the same team that brought us frozen + my fave, wreck-it ralph, no wonder i enjoy this film, too! ^_^

here is the line-up of characters at the latest disney offering {with descriptions i got from wikipedia} + my faves are the main ones, baymax + hiro:

  • 1. hiro hamada ~ 14-year-old robotics prodigy who has already graduated high school. His older brother Tadashi inspires Hiro to gain admission to San Fransokyo’s Institute of Technology
  • 2. baymax ~  an inflatable robot built by Tadashi to serve as a healthcare companion
  • 3. fred ~ a laid-back comic-book fan who also plays the mascot at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology
  • 4. go go tamago ~ a tough, athletic, adrenaline junkie who is developing electromagnetic wheel axles at the institute
  • 5. wasabi ~ a smart, slightly neurotic, largely built neat-freak and an expert on laser cutting
  • 6. honey lemon ~ a quirky chemistry whiz
  • 7. professor robert callaghan/ yokai ~ the head of a robotics program at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology and Tadashi’s professor and mentor, who also turned out to be the big villain afterwards

i am sure you will like the film as much as i did. go catch it with mum + dad today, if you haven’t already! by the way, do check out mum’s big hero 6 movie review!

krispy kreme teenage mutant ninja turtles donuts

teenage mutant ninja turtles, cartoons, my favorite things

mum cannot make me watch the new teenage mutant ninja turtles film no matter how much she convinced me that it will probably be a cool film. i only need to see the trailer + i am sure i do not want to see it. i guess the turtles are too scary this time around for my little boy’s taste. i thought they looked like monsters + i am certain i will be terrified if ever i see them on the big screen.

the donut version of my favorite turtles on the other hand is an entirely different story. even though i am not eating donuts yet, i find them real awesome. good thing mum bought me these turtle donuts from krispy kreme. of course, it was the grown ups who enjoyed eating them afterwards but i did enjoy looking at them + putting the stickers that came with them on our wall!

+ did i say i also cannot resist having my photo taken with this big krispy kreme leonardo poster? isn’t he awesome? but no, thanks, i am still not watching the film!

b is for blu

toys, my favorite things, cartoons, movies, collections, blogging from a to z challenge

did you watch the last rio movie? then i am sure you all know who blu is! he is the cool blue bird in that film, the main character, who was removed from his natural habitat in rio di janeiro and was fortunately found by his taker linda. blu can do a lot of amazing things like opening a computer, skating, reading but apparently he does not know how to fly.

the first rio movie is all about blu’s adventure when he went back to rio di janeiro to meet with jewel. they were the last of their kind + they were supposed to make baby birds together so there will be more blue macaw in rio. these beautiful birds are being captured and sold overseas at a hefty price.

i have seen the film a few times + i really love it! that is why i am excited to see its sequel which will be shown on local cinemas starting 09 april. will you be watching it, too?

by the way, did you know that they also have free rio2 toys at jollibee? i ate there earlier with mum + my classmates after our swimming class. mum got me two toys, blu + rafael. now am only missing the last one, which is a new character in the film, geri the frog.

my second entry for this year’s #atozchallenge:

the film is something both the grown-ups + the children would enjoy but am sure i was the one who enjoyed it much more than my parents did! i loved that batman + the other superheroes were there. i was also surprised when one of my faves michelangelo of the teenage mutant ninja turtles made an appearance at the master builders’ meeting.

emmet + wyldstyle are now my favorites + yes, i also enjoyed the lego movie theme, everything is awesome, + i’ve sung + hummed it on many occasions after we saw the film!
