o is for this orange slide

i have always thought that this slide is fascinating ever since i first saw it last year when i enrolled in swimming class + have aimed to give it a try if only mum is not too squeamish about the idea! 🙂 this year though is a very different story. a few days onto my swimming class this summer, two of our coaches at the toddler class accompanied me to the top of the slide + off we went! it sure was terrifying at first + the view from the top is enough to make you lose all the courage + turn around but my coaches will have none of my protests and off we slide. mum was just nervously watching by the pool side as we go.

here is a tiny version of the orange slide, which is found at the kiddie pool. during playtime i have made a number of attempts to climb it but was not really too bent on sliding. i guess i will do it when i am much older, since mum cannot slide with me on this one. i entertained myself by letting my water toys slide, instead 🙂

meet my new friend, wreck-it-ralph

toys, gifts, colorful things, my favorite things

i received a number of gifts from my parents + my loved ones this year + one of them is this cool wreck-it-ralph toy, dad gave it to me. he’s been my favorite since mum + watched his film last year. he was a grumpy, dirty guy who simply wants the attention the other guy from their game, fix-it felix, jr., is getting. he also wants to have more friends. he might also look intimidating, but this tough guy is actually a softy inside. what’s really interesting about ralph is that he was able to find a friend in sweet little vanellope. + i love their adventure together.

my little toy comes with a piece of the building that ralph wrecks in the movie, + true to his name, with just a click on the middle part of the brick + it’s all wrecked in 3 separate pieces. ralph is now one of my fave toys + did you know that he went with us when we watched the disney on ice show a day after christmas? i bet ralph enjoyed the show.

i shall be accompanying mum once she starts taking yoga lessons again this year + i will make sure to tag ralph along so he can see the rest of the city + meet the beautiful people at mum’s yoga class 🙂

friday playdate with rylan

last friday we went to activefun for yet another play date with my pareng rylan {check out our previous playdate here}. to say that we had a blast is actually an understatement! we totally enjoyed the experience + since we do not get to do this quite often, we made the most of the time by playing, playing + playing some more! 😀

we went to the big slide over + over, we swam with loads of colorful swimballs and played to our little hearts’ content. our mums also thought we were big enough to play on our own so they pretty much left us to ourselves while they chat away the afternoon in one corner of the play area while they keep an eye on us.

we are roaming all over the play ground and explored one part of it after another. we climbed colorful stairs after another + threw balls all around, too! when we were all tired + sweaty {in my case, at least}, we find this quite corner of the play area to sit + play with interactive toys.

we capped the day by strolling around the mall + taking photographs with the beautiful christmas decorations. it was truly one enjoyable day + hopefully we can do it again next time! 🙂
