if you’ve been on this corner this year, you’ve probably noticed that i am sporting a new + better blog design. mum was able to save a few bucks so we’re able to afford getting a new one, she said this is her christmas gift to my blog ๐Ÿ™‚ ย what do you think? if my blog can speak, i bet he’ll give me a high five + a job well done sign, too! ^_^

mum is still talking with the designer for a few finishing touches. i hope it will be up in no time. meantime, i hope you will grab my brand spankin’ new badge + place it in your blogroll, i will be delighted to return the favor {just leave a comment with your url, right? :)}

my orange story book

books, orange stuffs, toddlers

mum got me this book before i was even born, + has been reading it to me since i was a little baby. dad also read it to me on few occasions. this book is a classic story written by beatrix potter about timmy tiptoes. it tells about his + his wife’s adventure on gathering food in preparation for the winter season. something bad happened + timmy end up spending the rest of winter inside a tree with some other animals.

i don’t think i should tell you the whole story, you better get a copy + read it for yourself, it will be a fun read, i promise. but it’s even better if you get your parents to read it for you {like me, since i cannot read just yet ;D}

this was a secondhand copy, by the way, mum got it from one of her favorite bookshops, booksale {which she said she used to frequent when she was pregnant with me} + according to the first page of the book, this once belonged to a certain girl named maddie jane ๐Ÿ™‚

did you read any interesting books lately? ๐Ÿ™‚

my musical stack + ball game toy

toys, play, toddlers, toy stories

one of my most favorite toy is this yellow elephant-like stack + ball toy. mum + dad got this when i was about to turn 1 + i’ve really had loads of fun playing with it. how do i play it? i stack up the colorful rings made of fabric which make up the body of the colorful elephant. when i am done i take out the colorful balls from the hole + drop it on top of the elephants head. the balls have beads inside so they make beautiful sounds when they move. the bottom of the funnel-like plastic body also makes wonderful sounds when you drop the ball inside it, which makes playing time all the more fun…

sometimes, mum would also try to make fun of me by using the fabric stackables as improvised headbands, she would put one on her head + the little one on mine, which i’d automatically remove since i really do not like putting anything on my head. my mum would then break into peals of laughter. funny mum, won’t you agree? ๐Ÿ˜‰

my toy has been particularly silent for awhile now as it runs out of battery, so i hope mum can get me some batteries very soon so i can play with my toy again.

sharing this thru toy stories + orange tuesdays

my orange tiger book

orange, books, animals, kids,

one of my favorite books to read now is this one which has a big photo of a tiger in it {maybe because i have seen tigers in real life, + they are just amazing!} this was gifted to me by mum’s blogger friend, tita joy, along with the musical toy eggs, which she sent a few months ago. my word for tiger is katu + mum is saying i probably thought the tiger is just a big cat ๐Ÿ™‚

this book tells of a story of a little cub who pretends to be a big tiger when he plays. he imitates the bigger tigers in the way they move + whenever he plays, too. he even pretends to be a grown up tiger even when he sleeps.

i guess it is really part of our little kids’ playtime, even for people + animals, to pretend to be someone else other that ourselves. it makes the play more fun + lets our imaginations grow, too! ๐Ÿ™‚

books, kids, animals, orange

i love the color of this book, too. it is a combination of white + orange. most of the book looks much like this adorable cover.

this is my orange share for this week, what is yours? ๐Ÿ˜‰

my orange baby powder

kids, baby powder, Enfant

one of my favorite things is my orange baby powder. i’ve tried a few brands before + so far we like this one best. aside from having anti-rash qualities, it is also made up of pure + natural sterilized talcum powder that is just great for my delicate skin.

i simply love it when mum put this on me after i take a bath or during diaper change or during playtime when i get all sweaty and smelly, see i perspire a lot + needed frequent application of powder especially on my back to prevent sweat + keep my back dry ๐Ÿ˜€ it keeps me fresh + it also has this delicate, gentle smell that i love.

it comes in this cute orange/white container + i love playing with it, too, whenever i get the chance.

what is your orange share this tuesday?
