one of the best toys ever invented (at least in my opinion) is the ball! ball is simply the great! you can play with it on your own, or shoot into makeshift baskets you will find around, or, you can call on all your playmates + you can play catch!

as for me, the best way to enjoy a ball is to just toss it + see where it landed! i mostly enjoyed playing with it on my own, running around the house while grabbing my winnie the pooh ball in one hand. i also play catch with my cousins whenever they are at home. apart from this orange ball, i also have a few other types of balls which i love to play with, too 😉

postcards

my mum recently discovered a new hobby – collecting postcards! + every week the mailman would come around our place dropping a stack of postcards for her. just like last week. she was to put me to sleep for my afternoon nap + started checking out her newly received postcards, when i thought of something exciting to do!

i went up from bed + snatched the stack of cards from my mum + went back to bed! of course, she can only shake her head in disapproval. i was looking at the cards one by one. mum said, they have these lovely pictures of places like new york in the u.s.a. + some interesting places in the philippines, too! like baguio + cagayan de oro. she also said she hopes we can visit those places in the future!

i guess my mum liked that i enjoyed checking out her postcards since she quickly took out the camera + snatched some photos of me. as long as i promise not to tear the postcards apart, i think mum will let me play with them some more 😉

messy-go-round 05: cribs-a-mess

crib, playpen, baby, kids

i have this ~~annoying~~ habit (it is my mum who gets annoyed the most, but i simply love doing it! ;)) of scattering all the stuffs in my crib/playpen including my toys, the beddings, my comforter, the pillows + just about anything else that you can find in my crib. i simply delight in seeing them in topsy-turvy or sometimes, piled up in heaps on my bedroom floor. mum would painstakingly re-arrange everything afterwards, then i’d come scattering them again the next second. oh well, kids are probably just like that. we love to experiment, we love to get our tiny, chubby hands into anything we can grab + take a hold of. it’s so much fun! ;D

i was just a few months old in these photos + it was one of those days when my dad, probably for lack of better things to do or maybe because he just finds me way too cute + adorable (don’t you agree?), volunteered me to try his sunglasses on. yup, the unwilling victim. what can i do, i was just a little tot here + there is only i can do to protest. but i guess, i enjoyed wearing dad’s shades since they were able to photograph me with it on.

nowadays, i simply refuse to try this glasses on, but would coax it on my dad’s whenever i got the chance to. oh, + did i mention, the shades are now lying in my dad’s car compartment, waiting to be glued together. yup, i managed to break it the last time i was playing with it + bugging my dad to wear it. my bad! i guess, dad just have to figure out how to put it together. sorry sunnies, sorry dad 🙁

i have accumulated quite a few number of toys in my almost-two-years of life. mum + dad do not really buy me that often, only on special occasions or when we find something that i really like. plus, i also have some that are gifted to me on my first birthday!

here are a few of my favorite things, my toys, in a joyful array of lively + lovely colors! i simply love the burst of colors! orange, white, black, blue, red + yellow! my toys include my soccer ball, my car, my shape sorter, some balls, blocks + eggs, to name a few 😀
