kids in doodles: my new playschool

early learning, playschool, kids in doodles, pre-schooler

hello again playmates, time again for another round of kids in doodles + today am sharing my new playschool.

my old playschool closed down late last year so mum + i had to find me a new one. lucky enough, we found this one just across the resort where i enroll for swimming class during summer. mum said i really need to get used to going to school + doing all those school works in preparation for big school, where i’d be enrolled this coming school year.

we went to the playschool one day to have me assessed + my new teacher, cheenie, said that i am a fast learner + aced my assessment test. mum enrolled me right away + my class was scheduled the following week. we were to go for 2 hours during mondays/wednesday/friday.

my first day in my new playschool turned out well. i may be busy marveling at my new surrounding but did what i was told on most occasions. we traced {a lot of tracing} letters, identified the alphabet + numbers, we colored and told stories + my most favorite part of all, we played with this set of mega blocs. i made big robots + made believe they were transformers bumblebee + optimus prime!

i my not have cooperated on a number of occasions, but my teachers were clever enough to make me do my school exercises + unlike my former playschool, where we get to play a lot with my classmates miggy + don, which i missed a lot, we are more focused on doing school-related work + would just pause for a play break when I am being restless.

i am sure i will enjoy my time at my new playschool + i cannot wait to see their play area 2 doors down! πŸ™‚

okay Β it’s your turn to share your fun stories with us. do not forget to include one of our badges + link up. also, if there were a number of participants, i hope you’d visit them, too, to make our game more fun + enjoyable.Β

have a very nice february everyone! ^_^

after our recess, we had an exciting ghost hunt + pin-the-spider-legs game. i only manage to find one ghost, though, but i was able to paste all of the spider’s 8 legs!

we also had a piΓ±ata filled with candies + our teacher even prepared a treat bag for everyone! we all had a wonderful time!

how’s your trick or treat activities this year? share your colorful stories with us + let’s make this game even better by visiting the other playmates!

hello again playmates, how’s your weekend so far? am sure most of you are cooped up at home like me because of typhoon santi. but there is no need to feel sad or down just because we cannot play outside on a weekend, right? am sure you + your mum can think of several dozens of ways to enjoy indoors, just like joining this week’s kids in doodles, perhaps! πŸ˜‰

today am sharing all about the number doodles i made in playschool last thursday. counting is fun, but coloring with numbers is even more enjoyable. i colored numbers 2 to 5 + counted the objects that come with each activity page. kindly excuse my coloring skills, i was too excited to go out + play, instead, so i colored as fast as i can to finish my work! πŸ˜€

for numbers 4 + 5, apart from coloring + counting, i also got to paste these cute moons + people cut outs onto the page. of course, ate ricca had to help me put the glue onto the cut outs πŸ˜‰

i know i need more practice with my coloring skills, good thing mum has stashed a bunch of coloring books + activity pages at home so that i practice even on days when we have no classes, just like today! πŸ™‚

got any artworks or doodles lately that you want to share with us? don’t be shy + link them all up here! visit our other playmates + do not forget to add one of our badges to your post! Β now i wait for your doodles πŸ™‚

kids in doodles: another playschool doodle

hello everyone! i hope you are all safe + warm even when there is a storm looming about. i was peering into our window every too often waiting for the sun to come out but no such luck. hopefully tomorrow’s weather will be much better when labuyo leaves our country, so that i can attend playschool + see my classmates.

anyway, we are here for another round of kids in doodlesΒ + i will share a few more of my first doodles from playschool. one of our activities, of course, is coloring. this time around i have colored a bunch of musical instruments: a flute, a drum + a triangle. i also had to trace them first before coloring. what can you say about my work? πŸ˜‰

apart from coloring + tracing, we also do a lot of pasting + crafts. this time we made a colorful butterfly out of different cut-out shapes. mind you? i really do not like the icky feel of glue on my tubby fingers, so i had one of my teacher’s aids to spread them out on my cut out colored paper before i tapped them onto my activity page. i know mum will be thrilled to have me take on the glue with much enthusiasm but maybe some other time! πŸ™‚ after tapping my butterfly into place, i also had to color the flowers + the leaves on the page. i got a very good mark for this work, so i must be improving with my coloring skills! πŸ™‚

have you made any doodles lately? time for you to share it with us here. add one of these badges in your post + link up. make our hop even better by visiting the other participants, too! i will wait for your doodles then!

kids in doodles: coloring at playschool

one of the things that we normally do in playschool is to color. i guess mum will tell you that i am not too fond of coloring stuff + back at home i only do so when i am in the mood. at playschool, though, coloring is so much more fun + enjoyable since you get to do it with other kids your age, plus we get a very good stamp from teacher kai when we finish our work. this stamp i get to show my mum immediately after our class is finished + she is so much delighted! πŸ™‚

here are the very first coloring lesson we had at playschool. with a little help from ate april, one of teacher kai’s aids, i was able to finish coloring a bucket {colored it with my favorite shades blue + yellow}, a ball + a kite. i am not that good in coloring yet + my fingers tend to tire easily, but i am sure with constant practice, i will be able to ace this skill + color in swift, straight lines. πŸ™‚

have you been coloring + what have you colored lately? share those awesome doodles with me here at kids in doodles. include one of these badges on your post + link up. do visit our other participants, too, right? πŸ™‚

by the way, we will Β be joining Pasko Sa Agosto giveaway, so please stay tuned for the giveaway post! πŸ™‚
