anyway, time for the last k.i.d. of the year + what better way to end the year than by greeting each + everyone of you a very happy + prosperous new year! i hope to see you all next year for new rounds of fun doodle stories! remember to be safe and steer clear of firecrackers. am all set with my brand spankin’ new horn just for the occasion and i’ve just learned how to blow it last night! 😉

kids in doodles: a day before christmas

it was a day before christmas + boy aren’t we all excited to open our presents under the tree! we only have to wait a few more hours to find out what surprises are waiting for us under the colorful + shiny gift wrappers! ^_^

anyway, i know everyone is busy + all but i do hope you find time to join our kids in doodles this week. this will be our second to the last doodle for the year + quite a perfect way to send everyone your christmas greetings, too, as our topic for the day is all about the day before christmas!

before anything else, a big shout out goes to our lone participant of last week’s edition:

now on to our topic of the week. a day before christmas, everyone will be busy preparing for the christmas feast later on, so we will be marooned inside the house for the time being + will never get the chance to go + check out colorful christmas displays anywhere. lucky we’ve already done that when we were in baguio. we visited the baguio county club’s christmas village. it was a wonderful experience to be surrounded by all these christmas characters + to have our photos taken with them!

we’ve posed with fairies, the three kings, huge animals, as well as huge gifts! i was also able to enter these makeshift houses made of recycled cardboards + ride this improvised train, too! i went there twice, once with mum + tito ken + another time with tita cel + tita jinky, so i guess you can say that i enjoyed the experience totally! 🙂

how you doing boys + girls? it is 9 days before christmas + i bet you all are excited to open your presents under the tree. i know i am! 🙂 but before that, don’t forget to share your very first horse ride stories though kids in doodles this week, right? 😉

i’ve ridden wooden horses in carousels + other theme-park rides before, but the time we went to baguio + went horseback riding is actually the very first time i’ve ridden a real horse! it was mum’s first time, too! 🙂

it was really such a fun experience + i really enjoyed it! we went around this oval ground in one part of the park. there are loads of trees around and the track was muddy due to last night’s rain. our horse is just galloping at a slow + steady pace. maybe that is why i did not get scared of it at all! 😉

i would’ve loved to ride the horse for the entire time, but mum said we share the ride with my tita jinky + tita cecille + i agreed. they loved it, too. am sure we will be doing this again the next time we visit baguio! 🙂

hello there how was your weekend? mine’s really wonderful as we finally get to see the rise of the guardians but that’s for another blog entry as today we’ll be having another round of kids in doodles tales to tell!

first off, here’s the round-up of last week’s participants:

that taken care of, time now for this week’s doodle: camera fun. you can share anything about your camera or the fun you had with it!

mum lets me play with our camera every too often. in fact, i’ve taken a gazillions of photos with it that every time i am done playing, its battery is almost always dead or running on empty! what can i say i love taking photos of my toys, my cars, our house + practically anything.

oh well, it was just another day + i was using our good ol’ camera as usual, + guess what i discovered? this special feature that turns the photos you take to a drawing-like pictures. it was great won’t you agree? i took a lot of photos that day + here are just a few of them:

3. mum is writing something on her notebook + holding some postcards

so what do you think of my drawing-like photos, aren’t they cool?

it is almost christmas here at home as mum puts up our christmas tree a few weeks ago. of course, i wasn’t much of help but i provided the entertainment as mum worked on our tree. i also made sure to have my photos taken with it once it is up 😉

oh i helped mum put these two bears together since i thought they’d look good beside each other.

mum also placed a lone gift under the tree. it was tita‘s gift for one of his godchildren, robyn. i wanted so much to open it, but mum said it wasn’t mine and i have to wait for my own gift and until christmas day until i open them. 😀
