look at what my tita cecille gave me for christmas? a table + a pair of these colorful chairs, which are just perfect for my size, cool, right? ^_^
we have not taken a photo of the table, but mum put some of my favorite toys + books on it. she said we will use the table for when i start learning how to scribble, doodle + color this year. it will be perfect for our little homeschooling adventure to prepare me for big school later on.
we will be placing my new table + chairs where the christmas tree is located now, i guess i will just have to wait until mum gets inspired to box the tree, in the meantime, my furniture will be in a little corner in our tiny living room.
my chairs double as toys, too, so am sharing them with toy stories this week ^_^
if you’ve been on this corner this year, you’ve probably noticed that i am sporting a new + better blog design. mum was able to save a few bucks so we’re able to afford getting a new one, she said this is her christmas gift to my blog 🙂 what do you think? if my blog can speak, i bet he’ll give me a high five + a job well done sign, too! ^_^
mum is still talking with the designer for a few finishing touches. i hope it will be up in no time. meantime, i hope you will grab my brand spankin’ new badge + place it in your blogroll, i will be delighted to return the favor {just leave a comment with your url, right? :)}

hello everyone! this is the first kids in doodle of 2012 + before we proceed with our post, let me thank everyone who supported our meme throughout last year, especially those who’ve kept on joining even when the meme was transferred to this new host 🙂

now on with today’s entry ~
one of my most favorite things to do is watching starfall in our computer. it was a site mum discovered last year which helps me learn about the alphabet + counting, too! it has a lot of colorful pictures of things like apples, balls + dolls, as well as photos of animals like cats, dogs + elephants!
here’s wishing everyone a very happy + prosperous 2012! ^_^
for the first time i was awake to celebrate the coming of the new year, i was playing with my tito, who was here with tita bel to celebrate the new year with us. we watched loads of fireworks from the tv + from our neighbors. although, i got scared a few times when the noise got too overwhelming, i still get to have a great time + enjoyed a media noche treat, too, my favorite, hotdog! 🙂
i also added to the new year festivities by playing my drum, my castanet + tambourine stick loud. it was so much fun!
