hello everyone, how’s your saturday so far? if truth be told, i am actually taking my afternoon nap while mum updates my blog {come on, am only 2, you didn’t think i can really update my blog on my own, did ya? :)}

we are having a much deserved down-time. see i was out 3 times for the last 7 days + this little guy needs to rest + take a break. i will post about our simple dinner celebration for mum’s birthday, our zoobic safari adventure {my birthday} + my playdate with mum + dad at activefun in the coming days.

we were supposed to attend my pal rylan‘s 2nd birthday party but we cannot for some reasons. so, even if i am not with you on your special day, buddy, know that we wish you all the best + enjoy your day!happy birthday!

i’m sharing with you today some photos of a baby-me with my very messy hair. i used to sport my hair very long since mum is one of those superstitious mum who’d like to have their children’s hair cut only when they turn a year old! yeah, I was still a few months shy of being one in this photo + haven’t gotten my very first hair cut yet!

my curls are in riot especially near my nape + they’ve grown a few inches more before i turned one that a lot of people are mistaking me for a girl! i even had it on ponytail for a while before I got a haircut.

i’ve got such a messy mane, don’t you think?

interesting miyachi toy

mum won this toy from CDO Extreme‘s giveaway months ago + in case you’ve been wondering what this is it is a miyachi hand sack. you play with this tossing the hand sack (which is about a size of a regular nokia phone) + have fun catching it! this hand sack is made up of a sturdy cloth with beads inside.

now, i am still too little to actually play with this toy so mum + i gave it to my cousin, sean, instead, + he had loads of fun tossing the sack into the air + catching it, too. he uses his hands + feet for that. maybe when am a bit bigger i can play this toy with my kuya.

making faces, kids — my own version of the smoulder look

making faces is one of the funnest things to do, not only will it help you pass away the time, it is also most entertaining + will make you + your loved ones laugh while you take turns doing it.

a few weeks back, mum + i had nothing to do so she got the camera out + took these snapshots of me while i tried making these funny faces.

it was actually very enjoyable + mum + i had a great laugh. she also tried to imitate the funny faces that i made but was not as successful 🙂

it is actually very easy to do to, all you have to do is imitate a funny face made by your favorite cartoon character or your mum or anyone you saw recently + viola, you’ve just made a funny face all your own! 🙂

cool birthday celebration suggestions

my birthday is coming in a few days time + i know mum is very excited. but compared to last year’s bash, we are having a rather simple + memorable celebration this year! can you guess how are we going to celebrate my 2nd birthday?

well, maybe these amazing ideas can help you figure it out. here is a round-up of some of the most birthday celebration ideas that participants in our giveaway suggested:

minnie runner suggested i run in the 35^th National Milo Marathon in puerto princesa. well the place is a bit far from us plus we do not have the budget to travel for now, but running is a great idea. i can use some unspent energy + i’d really enjoy running with my mum. she’d really love for us to join the recently concluded mommy milkshake but since we are quite far from the city, it will make it very hard for us to get to the venue on time 🙁
mommy jes says maybe i’d love a costume or jungle-themed party, which i think i will enjoy a lit since i love animals, but as mum hinted no parties this year
mama dory suggests that i ask each guest to bring a birthday card for me. it will be fun reading them all out when i am a bit older. well, party or no party maybe i can still ask my loved ones to give me a card on me birthday, what do you think? 🙂
mommy jan + baby xye suggest a trip to the amusement park, a dinner afterwards +, my favorite part, shop for toys! yay! i’d love to do this 😀
tita divine also has a great idea of celebrating my birthday by donating school stuffs to the less-privileged students. mum is reserving this idea for when i am older so i can fully appreciate + understand the gesture
according to ladymishel for a unique birthday celebration, i should try going to a place i’ve never been to + have a great time exploring + traveling with my family..hmm, who knows maybe we can do exactly that, right? 🙂
