friday playdate with rylan

last friday we went to activefun for yet another play date with my pareng rylan {check out our previous playdate here}. to say that we had a blast is actually an understatement! we totally enjoyed the experience + since we do not get to do this quite often, we made the most of the time by playing, playing + playing some more! 😀

we went to the big slide over + over, we swam with loads of colorful swimballs and played to our little hearts’ content. our mums also thought we were big enough to play on our own so they pretty much left us to ourselves while they chat away the afternoon in one corner of the play area while they keep an eye on us.

we are roaming all over the play ground and explored one part of it after another. we climbed colorful stairs after another + threw balls all around, too! when we were all tired + sweaty {in my case, at least}, we find this quite corner of the play area to sit + play with interactive toys.

we capped the day by strolling around the mall + taking photographs with the beautiful christmas decorations. it was truly one enjoyable day + hopefully we can do it again next time! 🙂

hello there how was your weekend? mine’s really wonderful as we finally get to see the rise of the guardians but that’s for another blog entry as today we’ll be having another round of kids in doodles tales to tell!

first off, here’s the round-up of last week’s participants:

that taken care of, time now for this week’s doodle: camera fun. you can share anything about your camera or the fun you had with it!

mum lets me play with our camera every too often. in fact, i’ve taken a gazillions of photos with it that every time i am done playing, its battery is almost always dead or running on empty! what can i say i love taking photos of my toys, my cars, our house + practically anything.

oh well, it was just another day + i was using our good ol’ camera as usual, + guess what i discovered? this special feature that turns the photos you take to a drawing-like pictures. it was great won’t you agree? i took a lot of photos that day + here are just a few of them:

kids in doodles: trick or treating with my cousins

yup kids in doodles is up a bit late this week, but i do hope you’re all ready with your posts this lazy friday morning. before anything else, you might want to check out how our k.i.d participants last week celebrated their halloweens:

now onto this week’s topic. to join all you have to do is tell us all abou your trick or treating experiences this year!

it was the first time i’ve donned a costume so mum was really so thrilled. it was also the first time i’ve gone trick or treating with my cousins + we really had a blast! i totally enjoyed being batman even when the costume tends to be a bit hot + i was perspiring like crazy in an air-conditioned room. the only set back, though, was that i got really scared of my cousins. kuya sean dressed as dracula + ate shane came as a scary white lady. i did not want to get near them in the beginning! 😀

the place was my tita’s office + some of her officemates’ kiddos joined in the halloween festivities! we played games {even mum played one + won}, took photos + ate. i only got a few bites of my friend chicken since i was busy being batman + playing with other kids, too!

+ look who joined in all the fun! Jollibee prepared a fun dance number for us + went trick or treating with us, too! we rounded up all the tables in the office downstairs + even paid a visit to their warehouse next door.

the highlight of the event will have to be the awarding of the winners for best costume. all three of us won. my cousins won second best costume + i won third place for best costume for male. not bad for a green horn, won’t you agree?

it was really an experience i totally enjoyed. i think i won’t mind wearing a costume for every halloween from now on! i came home with a pumpkin full of candies, but i will leave those goodies for the grown-ups. the best part of my loot this year will have to be the bubbles which came in with my 3rd best costume prize! ^_^

kids in doodles: a weekend with my cousins

kids in doodles, family, playtime, weekend, out + about

we live in the same city, but you’d think we live in different countries or planets since we seldom see each other. it has actually been a while since i last saw my cousins, kuya sean + ate shane, that is why i was really happy when i finally came to see them two sundays ago when we visited my grandparents’ graves. they have grown bigger + taller compared to the last time i’ve seen them. both my cousins busied themselves with school during weekdays.

the memorial is one big green park, with lots of stuff to explore + loads of area to cover + run around, that is why after a round of greetings, we were immediately on our toes walking around with our tita jinky 🙂

we had a wonderful sunday together. the grown ups also made plan to for us to see madagascar that afternoon, but we lacked the time + decided we just do it some other time. oh well, i really had a wonderful time playing with my cousins again, much like the old times! hopefully i’d get to see them again real soon so we can play with my new finn mcmisile die cast car {which I shall share with you in another post, i promise}! 🙂
