the teenage mutant ninja turtles are my new favorites! mum + dad gifted me with a set of these cool turtle action figures for my birthday + i was so excited to play with them! the turtle team include: michelangelo, leonardo {my fave turtle}, raphael + donatello. they have these cool moves together with cool weapons to beat the baddy shredder + his army of bad guys. leo is an expert in niten ryu, mikey loves to waive his nunchucks around, donnie can always be seen wielding his naginata while you wouldn’t even dream of crossing rap + his sais.

here are a few trivia about the turtles:

leonardo ~ is leader + king of katana swords. hardworking, honorable + respectful leonardo is the turtles’ fearless leader. driven to be the perfect hero, leo’s in experience + often rowdy brothers so metimes get in the way of his goal.

michelangelo ~ jokester + hard-hitting nunchuck hero. impulsive, creative + very social, michelangelo is the heart + soul of the ninja turtles. the runt of the litter, he might be the smallest of his mutant brothers, but that doesn’t make him the weakest, just harder to catch. enemies beware! michelangelo is the master of the kusarigama, nunchucks with a secret + a sharp surprise!

donatello ~ inventor + weaponeer! inventive + detail-oriented, donatello maybe the only mutant turtles that doesn’t mind a little time indoors. after all, where would the ninja teens be without all his incredible battle creations? from the shellraiser to the robot metalhead, donatello’s mind is just as sharp as the blade of his naginata bo staff!

raphael ~ hot head + sharp sai expert! tough, quick to act + hot-tempered, raphael’s a powder keg ready to explode on unsuspecting enemies everywhere! the biggest of his mutant brothers, raph has a “why sneak around when you can bash some heads instead?” attitude. master of the twin sais, these three-pronged blades are the perfect reflection of their owner, sharp + to the point!

i also enjoyed watching all their old films, too! i think it was amusing that my mum also used to like the teenage mutant ninja turtles when she was a little girl + leo was her favorite, too 😀

it was a few days to go before me + mum’s birthday + i am going to have a simple celebration in playschool with my classmates + our teacher. so today for our kids in doodles i will share with you another minion stuff that mum will be putting on my birthday loot bag. these are a bunch of minion key chains made from felt. they are sooo cute, won’t you agree? i am sure my classmates will love them as much as i do! 😀

mum bought a bunch of them to include in my small loot bag, she added a few extra which we plan to give to my cousins, too! i really hope we can get a few more so we can share some to our online playmates, too! ^_^

kids in doodles, my favorite things, toy, jolly kiddie meal toys

hello there everyone! sure is a rainy + stormy season out there but there is no need for us to be sad, instead let us all enjoy all the free time so we can do all the things we enjoy doing, like watching loads of cartoons + playing with our favorite toys! 🙂

+ here is one of my latest favorite toys for today’s kids in doodles. this is a jolly kiddie meal toy mum + i got last month, i think. this is whiplash from the awesome + fast movie, turbo! yup, he is a snail + he is one of the cool racer snails that turbo met when tito rescued him. for all those who get to watch the film, am sure you all know him. 🙂

we did not have much luck in completing all the kiddie meal toys for this collection. we visited the jollibee branch near my playschool + whiplash is the only one they have left at the time. it would have been cool if we were able to get turbo {the orange one} + the rest of the gang.

d is for donkeys

we took on the abc wednesdays challenge a few months back but sadly we were not able to finish it all the way up to letter z. the last post we made was for the letter p, which you can read here.

anyway, we are unaware that the meme has just started again recently, so instead of finishing the first challenge, mum decided that we join the new one instead, + cross our fingers that we complete it this time around.

my share for letter d is a photo of these donkeys which mum took when we visited avilon zoo last month. they were standing farther away from their corral that i was not able to take a good look at them, but they sure look fascinating. i also thought they were a quite lot but i am not really so sure. i hope i can ride one someday! 🙂

cars 2 doubledecker bus, an early birthday present!

mum knows how much i love lightning mcqueen + his gang. we are actually collecting these guys + so far i’ve got about 9 of them. i am very happy to have a brand new addition to my collection + this time mum got me this big cars 2 double decker bus. it doubles as a transporter for the little diecast + a home for them, too, when i am not playing with them. it can accommodate 7 cars, but it was a good thing guido is so tiny he can easily share a spot with his good pal, luigi! 😀 the bigger diecast red also won’t fit, so i just let him sit on the open air top whenever we are playing.

this toy is not much like the other cars in my collection since it is made of plastic. mum always reminds me to be careful with it + refrain from dropping it as it might get broken easily, but so far, after a couple of bumps + falls, it is still in one piece, so i have to say it is made of good quality plastic! i will just be mindful not to drop it too often, though! 🙂

if you are a fan of the movie, you will see the doubledecker bus in action when the world grand prix had its final leg in london, they tower over other cars in the streets of this lovely city. i actually dream of riding a real doubledecker bus one day! 🙂

mum said this is a very advanced birthday gift! mum really knows what i like, i simply love it. can you tell from the photo? 😉
