my share for this week’s wordless wednesday 😉
of spending time outdoors + walkway paving
there is no other perfect way to spend a beautiful sunny day than to go outside + play under the sun, right? in fact one of my favorite activities to do with my mum is to go to the local park on a lazy sunny day + spend the rest of our afternoon there. i love running from here to there, marveling at the big open sky, counting the tall trees or checking out the people milling about, smiling at everyone.
one of the things i enjoy when we go out on the park is making a beeline to those cool grass-laden or paved walkways. we’ll have endless fun walking down the path over + over again, much like what i am doing in the photo, which was taken last summer during my swimming class. i particularly love treading the narrow foot path with loads of enthusiasm, while mum keeps up behind me. i bet a lot of people have painstakingly took the time putting all those textured stone slabs onto the ground, people that provides Install it Direct temecula paving services, i guess, or anyone of the same type found locally. thanks to these guys who took time to perfect this difficult job, toddlers like me can have hours + hours of fun traipsing paved walkways in parks, resorts, malls + the likes! 😀
come to think of it, it has been awhile since i went out with mum on the park, blame on the bad weather + the rain that has been keeping us cooped up at home against our will. the clear blue sky hints of a great hot weather to look forward to + i hope we can spend some time in the park real soon!
what is your favorite thing to do on a hot, sunny day like today? 🙂
kids in doodles: a photo with batman
we have not gone out much for the last 2 weeks because of the bad weather. it was a good thing the sun finally came out of its hiding place + chased the rain away. finally mum + i were able to go out last saturday. the timing is quite perfect as the activefun voucher mum purchased a few months back is about to expire in a few days. so off we went for one afternoon of playtime fun! 😀
we enjoyed the experience very much, as usual, even if there were too many children in the play area at the time + it was so noisy because of a party that is taking place on the other side of the place. mum also had a great time giving the slide a go! 😀
unfortunately our camera ran out of battery that day. the only photos mum managed to snap are these ones where i posted in front of the batman poster, which we passed by on our way to activefun. sorry if the photos are a tad blurry! we were not able to catch this film yet, i just hope the weather continues to get better so we can go out again while it is still showing in cinemas.
what are your doodle stories for this week? do not forget to join us + include one of the badges found here. i’ll look forward to your entries, right? oh, + by the way, you might also like to check out our let’s celebrate august giveaway while you’re here 😉
kids in doodles: kids have fun at robot zoo
mum, tita isabel + i went to moa 2 saturdays ago to check out the robot zoo! + to say that i had fun is really an understatement, i had a blast! i love animals, so i was really amazed when i saw these huge animal robots, as well as learn about a lot of so many things! among the big robot animals we saw are ~ giraffe, chameleon, grasshopper, platypus, bat, house fly, + squid! we are also taught how some body parts of these animals work! i get to push a few button to make the chameleon’s body move! how cool is that? 😉
aside from the wonderful animals, i also get to try out a lot of cool games, including this one which is called jet propelled, which should also be called the racing squids, for obvious reason. you get to push a lever to get your squid moving + the first squid to reach the finish line wins the game. i was no match to the older kids who seem to have mastered the game earlier on, but it was really fun. i have also get to try a dozen nuts + bolts + levers!
there was also a small program after the robot zoo tour, where kids also get to play fun games. i was just having fun while my group is busy assembling the longest line possible so we can win the game. we were not lucky, though, but were also able to bring home nice nickelodeon goodies. 🙂
there are really a lot of wonderful things to discover in this place + i bet a lot of kiddos, with their parents in tow, shall be flocking here soon. if they won’t budge, you can always show them my photos for them to see how much you are going to enjoy the place, ayt? 😉

kids in doodles: a weekend with my cousins
we live in the same city, but you’d think we live in different countries or planets since we seldom see each other. it has actually been a while since i last saw my cousins, kuya sean + ate shane, that is why i was really happy when i finally came to see them two sundays ago when we visited my grandparents’ graves. they have grown bigger + taller compared to the last time i’ve seen them. both my cousins busied themselves with school during weekdays.
the memorial is one big green park, with lots of stuff to explore + loads of area to cover + run around, that is why after a round of greetings, we were immediately on our toes walking around with our tita jinky 🙂
we had a wonderful sunday together. the grown ups also made plan to for us to see madagascar that afternoon, but we lacked the time + decided we just do it some other time. oh well, i really had a wonderful time playing with my cousins again, much like the old times! hopefully i’d get to see them again real soon so we can play with my new finn mcmisile die cast car {which I shall share with you in another post, i promise}! 🙂
time for you to share your doodles with us. the rules of our game is very simple, you post any photo or video with the kiddos in it! do not forget to include one of our meme badges, which can be found here, hop on to the other participants + leave your comments! easy-peasy, right? so i look forward to all your entries + here’s to another beautiful week ahead + never you mind the rain! 😉
