Gifts + Colorful Lego Starwars

toys, Lego, birthdays

Mum + I have been invited to my twin neighbors’ birthday celebration on Sunday to be held at the local Jollibee branch in our city. They will be turning 5 this year, just a year older than I am. If you would ask me, birthday parties are really quite fun + exciting events to attend + I am really looking forward to celebrating with my neighbors, playing fun games {even when I cannot really participate in them just yet} + seeing all those happy and joyful kids in one place! If you know me well, you’d know that I do not get to be around many kids that often since I live away from the only 2 cousins I have. That is why it is such a welcome treat to attend occasions like this when I get to be with kids my age. + kiddie parties at Jollibee are the best since I also get to see my favorite bee mascot! 🙂

Of course, one of the best things about parties, too, are the gifts! Birthday celebrants will be very excited to open the gifts their invited families + friends brought for them for their very special day. I know the feeling. I get excited at the mere site of unopened gifts + would like to open them immediately.

Unfortunately, mum + I was not able to get my twin neighbors gifts just yet. We did not have a chance to go out yet + look around for possible gift ideas. If you would ask me, I would say that this unisex colorful lego star wars droid escapes set is quite cool + is quite perfect since it is ideal for children 5 to 8 years old. I may not be that familiar with the movie, but mum said it was a very famous one + probably having a number of them in your toy collection will be such a good idea, right? Oh well, the only problem is I don’t think Kylie will like this toy very much as it looks really more like a boy’s toy.

Anyway, we might probably end up buying separate gifts for the twins to enjoy. It will actually depend on mum’s budget + I am crossing my fingers that we can afford to get two different toys so that both birthday celebrants will be happy! If you have got any ideas or suggestions, do not forget to throw one my way, right? 🙂

l is for my new laptop

my favorite things, toys, gifts

i got me a new laptop + this was gifted to me by my ninang mars whom we met a few saturdays back along with a number of mum’s old friends from work. it was great to see her again since we have last seen each other during my baptismal celebration. she is working in the uk now + just went home for a brief vacation.

my favorite things, toys, gifts

my new laptop is really quite cool + i played with it at once the moment we arrived home. it has cool + fun games, as well as educational activities that involved numbers + letters, too. although, it does not have a musical feature, i like my new laptop. it even comes with an almost-real mouse.

my favorite things, toys, gifts

now mum + i have something in common, she can type away in her computer while i play away in my new laptop. thank you so much ninang for your awesome gift! look even ironman seem to be enjoying our new toy! 😀

kids in doodles: easter celebration

kids in doodles, out + about, weekend, family time, easter

hello everyone how are you all doing today, as usual mum is posting this week’s k.i.d. a bit late but i still do hope you will join us + share your easter celebration stories with us! 🙂 there were no easter bunny and only one easter egg when we celebrated easter last sunday, but mum did promised that we’d go out + visit the mall so we did! i had been under the weather for a couple of days already + mum was just delighted that i am finally well again!

kids in doodles, out + about, weekend, family time, easter

although i did not participate in any easter egg hunt, i still had a wonderful time spending an afternoon with mum + later on with tita cecille. we’ve gone out quite late since i really do not like to go out when the sunshine is too much + it is really hot outside, so we waited for a few more hours and left in the afternoon.

i played in this soft play area for kids + had a wonderful time bouncing around and trying their inflatable slides. there are also other kids playing at the time, making my playtime more enjoyable!an added treat was when i saw my favorite, jollibee, when we went to his store for dinner. i have been craving for chicken joy for a few days so mum agreed that we eat there that day! i even got an easter egg from jollibee, how cool is that?

i am sure you had a great easter celebration, too, so do not forget to share it with us. do link up + visit the other participants {which i hope will increase in numbers soon! :P} to double our fun! enjoy your weekend! 😀

k is for kung fu panda

my favorite things, movies, cartoons

i’ve probably seen the short kung fu panda episodes mum has downloaded for me more than 2 dozen times. i have grown to love po + his cool gang + would often mimic their poses while i watch. i think they are just the coolest fighting bad guys with their cool kung fu moves. i’d love to learn kung fu when i grow up! 🙂

unfortunately the movies mum downloaded only played in our computer + not on the telly so i cannot watch it as many times as i would’ve loved to. mum said the video files have to be converted before we can watch it in our dvd. hopefully she’d be able to do it soon so that we can watch po + his friends on the telly.

meanwhile here is a photo of po with jackie chan, which mum took during our 2-day swimming with my cousins. i was not able to pose beside it because i was busy exploring all the other fun + cool stuff they have around. i’ll make sure to share the other photos we took in upcoming posts! 😉

kids in doodles: my very first boat ride

family time, cars + other vehicles, weekend, family time, kids in doodles, out + about, Jared's firsts

i went on my very first boat ride 2 sundays ago with my family. we left the pier at 6 in the evening just in time to view the famous sunset in manila bay. it was beautiful! i consider this my very first boat ride since the time we we went to check out the mv logos hope last year do not actually counts since the ship isn’t moving! 😀

family time, cars + other vehicles, weekend, family time, kids in doodles, out + about, Jared's Firsts

riding a boat is much like riding a car or a jeep except that instead of cruising on the road, we are actually wading through the water + you’d get a bit wobbly sometimes especially when there is a particularly big wave ahead. our cruise includes a dinner buffer so i was feasting on my fave, pancit, while enjoying this new experience.

family time, cars + other vehicles, weekend, family time, kids in doodles, out + about, Jared's Firsts

we even get to see a bit more of the shore and the nearby areas when we checked out the upper deck after eating. you can see the dark sky + the stars, too! they were all so interesting to look at.

i really enjoyed this experience + mum said we will ride a boat again when we visit the beach, i cannot wait! 🙂

got any interesting doodles to share? link up so we can read all about it!
