kids in doodles: jared + making faces

making faces, kids
my own version of the smoulder look

making faces is one of the funnest things to do, not only will it help you pass away the time, it is also most entertaining + will make you + your loved ones laugh while you take turns doing it.

making faces, kids
just trying to be funny πŸ™‚

a few weeks back, mum + i had nothing to do so she got the camera out + took these snapshots of me while i tried making these funny faces.

biting-my-lip look

it was actually very enjoyable + mum + i had a great laugh. she also tried to imitate the funny faces that i made but was not as successful πŸ™‚

it is actually very easy to do to, all you have to do is imitate a funny face made by your favorite cartoon character or your mum or anyone you saw recently + viola, you’ve just made a funny face all your own! πŸ™‚

kids in doodles: jared + the computer

kids, play, computers

today i will tell you a bit about one of my favorite things – our computer. i don’t watch in the tellie that often, but i get to watch my favorite pocoyo episodes or favorite videos and movies through the computer (i guess it actually helps that the pc is located in my room, so i get to use it very often).

mum is also using the computer a lot, especially when she’s checking her facebook account or updating our blogs (of course this blog included, i ask her to update it for me, since i am still quite a tad smaller to update it on my own) or joining online games and giveaway and whatever else she has to do online.

computer, kids, play

sometimes i can get so naughty and bug her while she’s working, most often i’d be sitting right next to the cpu, pushing buttons here + there (yes, i have accidentally + sometimes deliberately pushed the power button a number of times, too!) or twiddling with the keyboard + pressing on the sleep button much to my mum’s amusement/exasperation/surprise!

sometimes, i get some scolding but more often that not, i get away with it! my mum would either end up turning the pc or turning it back on again + let me watch my favorite film, which happens to be cars + the incredibles at the moment πŸ˜‰

kids in doodles:playing with my blue balloon

kids, play, balloon

it was another gloomy + rained down weekend, as much mum loved for us to go out in the sun, the sun is nowhere to be found + it was raining cats + dogs for days on end, we had no choice but to stay at home. glad i enjoyed watching the raindrops splattering onto puddles of rainwater in the ground from my bedroom window.

kids, play, balloon

on saturday evening tita cecille came home with this nice blue balloon.Β  i had loads of fun playing with it the next day. mum enjoyed watching me throw this thing in the air then went around the room to catch it wherever it lands. she had a bit of a trouble keeping up with the livewire,Β  i was all over the place + i was gone the moment she clicks on the cam. that explains why the first photo was a little bit blurry πŸ™‚ after a while, mum had to give up + played with meΒ  instead. + it made playtime doubly fun!

how did you spend your rainy weekend? tell me about it, + while you’re here you might as well check out my birthday giveaway, it makes passing the rainy days more fun, plus you will even get to win $100 cash if you are lucky πŸ˜‰

kids in doodles: Jared went a-doodling

kids, doodlesmum brought me a 12-piece pack of crayon last christmas, she thinks it is about the right time to introduce me to these colorful things + i guess she thought right as i have taken on to these tiny colorful sticks!

it is part of my morning ritual to grab my colors (which are neatly placed in my pencil case, it is actually mum’s which was given to her by one of her mummy blogger friends :)) + spread them around the room or use it to write some doodles everywhere.

recently mum gave me her notebook so i can doodle on something so i did! i used different crayons for this doodle: purple, red, yellow + others. look what i have made so far. do you like it?

kids, doodles

doodling is one of the activities that i enjoy doing + mum enjoyed it too.

care to share your doodles with us? πŸ˜‰

bubbles are bliss!

bubbles, kidslast week, mum finally managed to capture my fascination with bubbles using our camera. it was nighttime + my tita (aunt) cecille just got home from work. of course, i’d love to play with her as soon as i can. mum won’t let me run around the house since it is quite late and i was a tad sleepy, too, so i was stuck in my playpen.

kids, bubbles

what i did is ask my tita to make some bubbles (actually more like gestured for her to reach for my bubble sword since i am not speaking much yet!). i have this bubble sword that mum got from the toy store last month (it was my second actually, since i have managed to break the handle of the first one + used up all the bubble juice, too!). my bubble sword is rather big, it stands almost up to my chest + make a lot of huge bubbles to my enjoyment!

mum was on the sideline taking photos while my tita + i played. those photos above are just a few of the shots she made. she sure took a number of photos capturing the beautiful bubbles. you can check out our photos here. if you’d look at the photos one after another in a speedy manner, you’d actually think the images are moving! cool, right!

this is my kids-in-doodles moment of the week, have you got any?
